Every week, we’re excited to partner with the Humane Society of Erie County to spotlight a very special adoptable pet who’s just pre-approved and waiting for their forever home. This week, we’d like you to meet Piglet—a 2½-year-old tabby girl with a personality as charming as any first-time homebuyer.

Piglet may be small in size, but don’t let her petite frame fool you—she’s packed with energy, spunk, and heart. Her most unforgettable feature? A short, docked tail that might remind you of a happy pup, because when Piglet’s excited, it wiggles and wags with pure joy.

And if you’re looking for good conversation with your new housemate, Piglet is the perfect match. She’s a talker! From the moment you walk in the door, she’ll greet you with a soft meow—a warm “hello” that can quickly turn into an engaging (and adorable) chat. Of course, she wouldn’t mind if that conversation ends with a treat or a play session.

Just like today’s homebuyers, Piglet has all the qualities of someone ready to move in:

• She’s confident and independent, but also affectionate when she knows you’re near.
